Have you ever been in the experience where your friends and family want nothing to do with your business? They’re not a cheerleader or supporter and conversations are awkward… especially around the Christmas table, or at Thanksgiving! I want to tell you that you’re NOT alone! I have some insights, ideas and solutions for you!

I am one of those women that are a people pleaser! I am a YES girl!

Recognize that no one is going to support you more on business than a fellow online sister. Your tribe is going to support you way more than your own family and friends and that’s not abnormal. There’s a lot of fear and stigma within this industry if you’re in direct sales or network marketing.

Our friends and family will never forget where we’ve come from. They have you in this box, in this place in their mind and we’re never going to escape it!

There’s nothing more that I would love than have the approval from my family, to have them congratulate me for what I do, but I want you to know that YOU are supported! I want to congratulate YOU for doing what you do!

Find a community, an accountability partner, find someone who will be there with you. You don’t even have to be of the same company. They say if a woman is not celebrated or supported and nurtured within her business she is going to quit.

When you absolutely adore someone (or something) it shows.

You can’t help but talk about it - and let me tell you, I adore the tribe & marketing plan in the company I’m running with (High trending products help too!).

I invite you to check out WHY I said “YES, Please!” after taking a 2 year break from MLM's & after almost 4 years later STILL has me bouncing out of bed & giving my growing team great joy every.single.day at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0KRIG_3BUk

Of course, if you’re an action taker like me, just text “Start” to 236-700-0686 & we can start a conversation to see if Social Retailing is a great fit for you.

Sometimes we set ourselves for disappointment. When we have expectations of what we want to receive from another person, their words or actions, we are setting ourselves up for disappointment because they’re not you. They’re not going to give you what you want because they’re not you!

Some of our friends and family are worried that if they open up the conversation we’re going to pitch them. Especially if we started our business the wrong way and we used to spam people and invite friends to business parties. Those friends and family remember that ‘you’ back from 2015, and they haven’t released it. It’s best if you can be the big person here and understand that and concentrate on finding your tribe and your support.

We have to remember that we do have a target audience. Not everyone will be interested in what we’re offering.

Sometimes it’s best if our family doesn’t buy our products because they might not even believe in them. They might not be willing to take and use them in the correct way. What they can do is participate in your raffles, put it in their stories.

Some of us have started our businesses and then stopped. And your friends and family remember that. They won’t forget! And for you, starting a new business is like going to a new college! No one knows who you are, you can be the person you want to be and find your tribe. It is good to rebrand sometimes!

Some of your friends and family might actually be fearful that you’re going to have success. They might not be able to celebrate you because of the things they have said in private. Because of the stigma or the experiences they have had in this industry. All we can do is add all the sunshine and positivity that we possibly can.

Do you love your life like I do?

I’m always open to connecting with uplifted & sunshiney hearted women - those who love life and enjoy helping others succeed! And if you’re not completely in love with your life, that’s even more of a reason to connect so I can help guide you to the Sunny Side of Life.
Text “love” to 236-700-0686 or send me a
message on Facebook.

Give more celebration, give more cheer, give more empowerment to the people that surround you! People need it, if we know we need something we know other people need it as well! It’s up to us to step up and give it out there because it’s going to get reciprocated! When we smile the world smiles!
