Everyone has bad moments, even bad days.. No one is immune. I was shared a few things from my family, some self learned from my own personal trials and tribulations.  I thought it only kind to share “My 6 Personal Tips To Battle Forward in Life!”

The sun will come up, the moon shall set, the tides in the ocean will come in and go out. We are here but in this moment.. This “wherever you are” -“whatever your feeling” will change, they will come to pass.. You and I have a 100% chance of success in this battle and struggle we are encountering today. Please never make a permanent decision about yourself or your situation in this temporary mind set..

 

Here are my family taught, self discovered 6 tips that I refer to:

1. Get yourself into a new place. Go for a walk in the forest, or park, someplace quiet, calm. Leave your ear buds at home. Talk with yourself, be spiritual if you wish. Stay there till your world spins a little slower, regain your balance and find some clarity in your thoughts. I had to Battle “to busy” to take care of me.

2. If you consume alcohol or take recreational drugs. Stop. Put them on pause until you find resolution of your troubles/struggles. Let your mind work its best in a un-altered state. Let your body heal while you deal with the stresses in your current situation. I had to Battle “reach for something” to take the edge and pain away.

3. Do one thing right now that will give you the feeling of accomplishment. Clean a junk drawer, wash your kitchen windows, go through your closet. Every day make a small 3-5 point list of To Do, ever so minor, but achievable. I had to battle “feeling I couldn’t do anything of accomplishment”.

4. Get sufficient rest; but set your alarm if you need to too ensure you don’t over sleep. Get out of your pj’s. Put your make up on, shave your face, shower! I had to battle feeling insignificant that I didn’t need to “show up” in the world, in my day.

5. Get sweaty! Mow the lawn, chop some fire wood, go for a challenging hike, or go to the gym; but really get your heart rate up. Get your blood moving; its a well known fact that exercise changes our bio chemical state, helping us feel better! I had to battle to move my butt, moving my body helped move my mind.

6. Do one thing that gives you Joy and can give joy to another person; for me its cooking.. I love to cook, and I love to give it to another.. I had to battle that feeling I wasn’t needed, desired or appreciated, including myself!

When your feeling “off course, scattered, unfocused, overwhelmed, detoured, sad, depressed” .. Recognize that those feelings that your feeling; right here, right now, they are not forever.. They too shall pass.
